New Machines for Plant Hire in 2024
At H. E. Services Plant Hire, we continually invest in expanding and improving our fleet to ensure we can offer our customers the best equipment for their construction needs. 2024 has seen the addition of several new machines, enhancing our capabilities and reinforcing our commitment to providing the most innovative and efficient plant hire solutions.
Electric Sany SY19E: As part of our ongoing efforts to embrace sustainable solutions, we’ve added the Electric Sany SY19E to our fleet. This mini-excavator runs entirely on electricity, offering quiet, zero-emission operation, perfect for sites where environmental impact needs to be minimised. The addition of the SY19E represents our dedication to providing eco-friendly machinery options for modern construction practices.
Bobcat Tracked Loaders: We’ve also expanded our range of tracked loaders, with the introduction of the Bobcat Tracked Loaders. These machines are perfect for rough terrain, offering powerful performance, excellent manoeuvrability, and robust durability. Whether it’s for lifting, digging, or clearing, Bobcat loaders are designed to maximise productivity on any site.
Mecalac Cabbed Dumpers: For projects requiring reliable transport of materials across the site, the Mecalac Cabbed Dumpers are an invaluable addition to our fleet. Known for their versatility and safety features, these dumpers offer excellent stability and ease of use, even in challenging conditions.
TinBin TC2 Attachment: Our fleet now includes the TinBin TC2 attachment, a unique solution for waste handling. The attachment is designed for efficient, compacting waste disposal, making it a great addition to any construction project with a focus on reducing material waste and improving site management.

- V2 Rocket Dig with Research Resource Archaeology: One of the standout projects for H. E. Services this year was our collaboration with Research Resource Archaeology on the V2 rocket dig. This archaeological excavation, focused on uncovering key aspects of history, required careful planning and precise excavation equipment. Our machinery played a vital role in ensuring the site was prepared efficiently and safely, providing the necessary tools to support the project’s success.
Viaduct Repairs in Ulverston: Another major achievement in for our Plant Hire in 2024 was our involvement in the Viaduct Repairs in Ulverston. This project required a blend of heavy-duty and precise machinery to ensure the integrity of the historic viaduct was preserved while upgrading its infrastructure. Our machines were instrumental in completing various stages of the repairs, from earth-moving to lifting and transport.
- Featuring on Channel 5 Series “Trucking Heavy”: A major highlight for H. E. Services this year was our featured role in the popular Channel 5 Series “Trucking Heavy”. This series gave viewers a behind the scenes look at some of the toughest and most impressive machinery at work on high-stakes construction projects, and H. E. Services was proud to be part of this exciting series.
