H. E. Services rushed to the aid of local firefighters, when a fire ripped through the Siteserve plant on the Llandow Trading Estate near Cowbridge. The incident took place over August bank holiday weekend 2015.
Our Cardiff depot supplied a Komatsu PC210 equipped with dedicated shears. The machine was used to pull the now derelict building to the ground. Stopping the flames that had been burning for over 5 days.
Our machine now has the task of fully demolishing the building. As it has been deemed unsafe by the local fire brigade.
Over 65 firefighters tackled the blaze over the course of the weekend. 6 fire engines and 6 special appliances were also used on site.
The job was originally reported to our 24 hour emergency helpline which is constantly manned by senior management 24/7.The urgency of job was escalated onto the depot, who responded quickly.
