After a great start to the beginning of 2015, the UK construction industry is currently on an upward trend. As the owner of the largest fleet of specialist Construction Plant for Hire in Europe, H.E. H.E. SERVICES’ investment in Komatsu Excavators, Manitou Telescopic Handlers, Hydrema & Thwaites Dumpers, JCB Backhoes and Yanmar tracked dumpers.

The main machines are Komatsu excavators from 1½ to 50 tonnes, Manitou Telehandlers from 6m to 18m and Thwaites Dumpers from 1 to 9 tonnes, all with the very latest Tier 4 engines.

H.E SERVICES have also purchased a variety of specialised attachments, following customer feedback, including Rotating Selector Grabs, Breakers, Grapples, Crusher Buckets, Sheers, and our unique Masterclaw, which is exclusive to H.E. SERVICES.

During the first half of 2015, H.E. SERVICES also expanded their Transport Services, through the purchase of a fleet of curtain sided lorries and a range of grab tipper trucks, enabling a new range of haulage solutions to be offered to the UK logistics market, with a fleet of Iveco Stralis Curtain Sided Trucks and Mercedes 2628 Econic 26T Grab/Tipper lorries. This is in addition to H.E. SERVICES’ existing Plant Haulage, which has had an overhaul within the last year, to meet the very latest regulations, including new low loaders up to 80 tonnes and 12 and 36 tonne lorries.

This £40 million investment in new vehicles and machinery includes a fleet of new service vehicles including VW Amaroks, and the expansion of the existing rental fleet of Tesla Model S electric supercars.

This expansion of the H.E. SERVICES fleet ensures that the best machines in the world are always available for hire from H.E. SERVICES, Managing Director, Peter Durey, stated: “When H.E SERVICES purchases a machine, we only purchase the very best, with the latest technology and to the exact specifications of our demanding customers”.

These purchases once again reinforce H.E. SERVICES’ dedication to providing the most up to date fleet with all machines less than 3 years old, as well as a major step to become even more Health & Safety conscious and environmentally friendly. A trend that H.E. SERVICES will continue into the future.
