Safety FAQs

A ROPS (Roll over Protection System) is an engineered reinforcement installed onto or into a vehicle to reduce crushing or deterioration of a vehicle cabin during a roll over event. It is a practical preventative safety measure that can substantially reduce injury and increase protection of your most valuable asset – your operator.

How does a ROPS work?

A ROPS predominately works by significantly increasing strength and the potential for energy absorption. Its main goal is to limit the crushing or destruction of a vehicle cabin. Effectively working in the case of a roll over event to provide the operator with increased protection.

What does a ROPS look like?

ROPS Pty Ltd are dedicated to ensuring a high level of attention to detail in the installation of your ROPS and FOPS. We will go to great lengths to consider and maintain the appearance of your vehicle.

Our ROPS/FOPS frames are designed especially to look like a factory fitted item (see Image Gallery). We understand the need for image and branding and go to great lengths to ensure colour matching of our systems and maintenance or reproduction of your branding attributes.

We use 2Pak paint to your specification and will ensure stickers, company logos, even pin-striping or scroll work are matched perfectly.

A ROPS/FOPS frame should be considered as a value adding product that provides a safety improvement without sacrificing the look and feel of your vehicle asset.

A FOPS (Falling Object Protection System) is an engineered reinforcement installed onto or into a vehicle to reduce injury and increase operator protection in the case of a falling object (such as a rock or piece of machinery).
