H. E. SERVICES (Plant Hire) LTD have a vacancy for a Workshop Forman/Fitter at our Ashford Depot

Hours of work 40 hours per week (flexible).

This is a hands on position so, the candidate will be required to carry out servicing and repairs as well as running the workshop and liaising with the office staff to prepare the required machinery for the up and coming jobs.

The applicant will ideally have experience in the service, maintenance and repair of construction plant machinery welding, must hold a full UK driving licence & have your own tools. This is a depot is predominantly workshop based, occasional site visits maybe required to cover holiday/sickness were a vehicle would be provided

The applicant will be working on:

  • Tracked Excavators up to 22ton
  • Dumpers and Dump Trucks
  • Rollers
  • Telehandlers
  • Various attachments such as breakers, grabs, shears.

The applicant will ideally have experience in the service, maintenance and repair of construction plant machinery and welding,  possibly gained from the motor trade or similar.
