H .E. Services (Plant Hire) Ltd successfully teamed up with Bomag dealer Leach Lewis Plant, to provide training on compaction equipment, as well as various in house training for all their Depot Managers and Hire Staff, which was split over 2 weekends to allow for more intensive training to be given. The training was held at H.E.Services Head Office, which is based at Strood, Kent. H. E. Services have recently placed one of the largest single orders of self- propelled rollers
The order includes 13,16 &19 tonne self-propelled rollers, together with padfoot shell & tyre kits. During 2006 H. E. Services (Plant Hire) Ltd purchased over 80 Bomag rollers, all supplied through Leach Lewis Plant. H.E.Services are rightly proud of their programme of continuing people development, and with the introduction of the larger rollers, they have requested not just product training, on the self- propelled rollers, but also on the popular BW120AD-4 tandems, and the Bomag BMP851 trench rollers.
Compaction Helpline The training weekends will be followed-up by more compaction sessions in each of H. E.Services 12 depots nationwide, ensuring customers are advised on the right machine for their job, and covering where the rollers meet the Department Of Transport Specifications.
