The Diggerland JCB Stunt Team, more commonly
known as the "Dancing Diggers" is undoubtedly one of the top arena attractions
available. The team comprises of five giant JCBs and 2 mini Bobcat excavators.
The show includes dare devil stunts, magic and formation dancing, intermingled
with lots of comedy during a 30 minute performance accompanied by music.
The power, versatility and accuracy of the machines and operators is continually
being tested to the limit in an amazing act which thrills audiences of all ages
throughout the UK and overseas.
The teams can perform on most ground
surfaces and usually no damage will be sustained. The minimum area required is
50m x 50m surrounded by either crash barriers, chestnut fencing or other firm
surround, or two sets of ropes and pins with at least a one metre gap between
each set, creating a safety corridor. Also needed is an area for parking the team,
a minimum size 15m x 15m.
Whilst on Location the Team provides a static
display for the public which is very popular. Public Liability Insurance is held
to the value of £5 million whilst the machines are under the control of the team
members.
