This is commonly known as a backhoe loader and as such can be used for many jobs requiring digger work. The JCB 3cx is a relatively small sized digger, resulting in its ability to be used for the smaller construction sites, individual house builds or urban engineering.  Being a backhoe loader machine means it has greater productivity than a lot of the other varieties of diggers on the market.
